David and Travis Wear are two 6 foot 10 Power Forwards (PF) who last season played at Chapel Hill for the North Carolina Tar Heels. Now, before I delve into the actual story, I will let you know a little about their past. They were McDonald All-American athletes at Mater Dei High School who were highly coveted and actually had their pick at one time between both North Carolina and the UCLA; the twins chose North Carolina last year.
Now, we fast forward to the present where David and Travis Wear are coming off a disappointing loss in the NCAA Tournament this past season and find themselves jumping ship to play for UCLA this upcoming season.
Pac-10 watch out!
The UCLA Bruins did not have a good season at all last year finishing 6th in the Pac-10; however, tied with the same record at (8-10) as my Southern California (banned) Trojans. Alas, for the Bruins there is a ray of light - nay - two huge rays of light headed to Southern California. Just as the Trojans are coming off a year in which they were suspended (thank you OJ Mayo and Coach Floyd) and on probation, they now have to contend with a loaded UCLA team. Ugh. That's all I can say about that. One thing I would like to make clear to you readers is I DO NOT like UCLA. I despise them. They disgust me. Their care-bears. They're soft. But damn it, when it comes to basketball - they're champions. Double ugh. It's what they do out there in WestWood.
Thank God for USC Football is what I say.

I thought they were ineligible for year and can't play till the 2011-2012 because of the transfer.
